On 12th October 2025, the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital organized a Free Dental Screening Camp at SIRC premises, exclusively for CMA Members, Students, and their Families. The initiative aimed to promote oral health awareness and preventive dental care among the CMA fraternity.

The camp was graced by Dr. S.S. Deepika, BDS, Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry, as the Chief Guest, and conducted under the guidance of CMA T.C.A. Srinivasa Prasad, President & Council Member, ICMAI, CMA Vijay Kiran Agastya, Chairman – SIRC, CMA D. Munisekhar, Vice Chairman – SIRC, CMA Rajesh Sai Iyer, Secretary – SIRC, and CMA K.V.N. Lavanya, Treasurer – SIRC. The event was also supported by Regional Council Members and senior faculty members from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, including Dr. N. Velmurugan, Principal, Dr. H. Annapoorani, Vice Principal (Academics), Dr. G. Lambodaran, Vice Principal (Admin), and Dr. Preetha Elizaleth Chaly, Head of the Department, Public Health Dentistry. CMA Rajesh Sai Iyer, Secretary – SIRC, delivered the Vote of Thanks 

On 11th October 2025, the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organized a Professional Development Seminar on “Opportunities in Listings and Funds and Professional & Technology Services Providers at GIFT-IFSC” at SIRC Premises, Chennai. The seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge of members on emerging professional opportunities at GIFT City and provide insights into capital market dynamics and regulatory frameworks 

The session was graced by distinguished speakers — Shri Pradeep Ramakrishnan, Executive Director, Department of Capital Markets, IFSCA; Shri Sathyaraj C.M., General Manager, IFSCA; and Shri K. Mahipal Reddy, Executive Director, IFSCA.
